第三十四屆香港國際電影節雖然要到二月廿五日才開始舉行記者招待會公佈全部片目，不過在公佈片目前，每每都會很有技巧地透露一些片目。
今年的方法之一，便是先行提供首條預告片段。
香港國際電影節近年已於其官方網站提供了今年電影節的首條預告片，片長約四十八秒。當中字幕打出了一堆導演與演員的名字，同時也剪輯了大量電影片段。
好了，預告片段到底代表甚麼呢？依正常的邏輯去看，相信大家也認為預告片段的電影該會是電影節的選片。在這個情況下，大家不妨看看上述的預告，且看能否猜到今年的選片。
與此同時，在日前舉行的香港影視娛樂博覽的記者招侍會上，香港國際電影節藝術總監李焯桃先生在介紹電影節之時，大型屏幕展示了今年電影節標誌的設計，大家又覺得這個設計如何？

Antichrist most likely won’t be in HKIFF as it was shown in the Edko-organised European Film Festival just a week ago. The Charlotte Gainsbourg reference should be for Patrice Chéreau’s Persecution.
Aside from your predictions (I think you’re right guessing Fish Tank from that scene with the young girl running), I’ve guessed:
Marco Bellocchio’s Vincere, Claire Denis’ White Material, Sabu’s Kanikosen, Alain Resnais’ Wild Grass, Theo Angelopoulos’ The Dust of Time, Coen Brothers’ A Serious Man, Hitoshi Matsumoto’s 松本人志 Symbol, Rabbit Without Ears 2,The Messenger.

認得仲有內地套《夜店》,呢套小弟早就睇左,值得一看,《瘋狂的石頭》跟風之作,但不比《瘋》片差得多。

Just an observation, the poster has a very noir/mystery/psychothriller feel- is this a hint there’s more mature/arthouse films this year, and a different direction from last year’s deliberate attempt to include more uplifting/comedy films (seriously, was 2008-09 that depressing as a year?)?
Or am I raising my expectations far too high for an increasingly commercial and irrelevant international film festival?
Credit should be given to this year’s poster though, it’s far less 無厘頭 than last year’s amateur student project.
