「講。鏟。片」於去年年底起舉辦「票房預測比賽」，曾一度因為同一IP不停以不同假身份登入影響運作。不過情況於本周更為嚴重，故此，在觀乎情況下，我們決定取消本周比賽成績，並檢討日後有關比賽運作。
近期的票房預測比賽，出現了以下三個情況：
情況一：有讀者以同一IP賬戶以不同身份參賽
情況二：有讀者偽冒他人身份參賽
情況下：有讀者偽冒他人所屬網站連結參賽
鑑於有關情況有達至我們無法辨別參賽者身份的地步，故此，有關的比賽連最基本參賽者的身份也有虛假，根本無法運作，故此，本周的比賽只能取消。
為了這樣不幸的事件不致重演，故此下周起票房預測比賽將改以新的形式運作。現誠邀各讀者提供合適的運作模式。在未有較佳的模式的運作前，有關比賽將會暫停至另行通告。
對於一向努力參賽的讀者，我們謹此致歉，惟敬希明白現在的情況，實在難以運作下去。也好讓各位去想日後這個比賽該如何辦下去。

That’s too bad. I have a very favourable result this week.
No wonder so many people participated.
It is very unfair for some who did their homework and play the game.
I think you should still release the results no matter what. If you decide to cancel the game because of sabotage, that means you have declared you lose the war to those losers.
Why not you simply announce to terminate the box office prediction game forever?

Unfortunately, it will be a lot of workload for Ryan, so it is not feasible.
I have participated four times, first time I got zero, second time I got 90.73, third time I got 56%, this time I supposedly got 78% which would make me finish in the top 5.
It is my unlucky day.
I think Ryan should just terminate this competition forever.

One of the reasons why I insist to write in english and give some reasoning to my predictions, is that nobody can masquerade as me, even if I have a simple post name of Ken.
Tim Cheung, I think nobody here needs to play the game by looking at how others guessed, because many of the guesses are garbage, and it is often these garbage predictions that make things more suspicious.
Anyway, if Ryan does not mind the extra workload of checking our e-mail messages, then please do continue this game. But I like to point out that some people may open several email accounts to participate, so the result is just extra workload for Ryan no matter what.

I think the box office prediction game is completely ruined, and although not all of us always agree with Ryan’s viewpoint on movies, there is no denying his sincerity in creating this blog, and it involves a lot of hard work. So shame on you, you know who you are.
Truth is, there are limited resources to work with, and it is demanding for Ryan to have him undergo extra workload to check e-mail or check IP addresses.
Therefore, my advice is to simply terminate the box office game. It is a shame, as I have only participated 4 times.
What I like to see, is continue to post a box office forecasting thread and keep the discussion going, instead of doing a game. It is very worth it, much like boxofficeguru or boxofficemojo’s forecasting articles.
